We had so much fun making smoothies and doing yoga on Tuesday. I thought I'd pass along the recipe for the smoothies since they were a big hit. The girls didn't think they were going to taste good, and made all kinds of disgusted noises while I was making them. As soon as someone was brave enough to taste it, and declare it delicious, everyone was on board. I think everyone had seconds, if not thirds!
1 Banana
1 Cup frozen Strawberries
1/2 Cup frozen Blueberries
1 vanilla yogurt
Handful of baby spinach
1/2 Cup Apple Juice
Blend and enjoy!
You can add more apple juice if you're having trouble getting it to blend, and if you use fresh fruit instead of frozen you'll need to add ice to get that "smoothie" texture.
